Last story from Issue 666 (naked hipsters are not in this)

Revenge by shawners
Here is the last story from Issue 666.
These are the same kids that last Halloween brought someone back from the dead to take them trick or treating. I think I will try and do a story with them and their DIY 666 book every year.

art book comic #1

I really love music, I love the way it makes me feel, I love the things it makes me think, and I have, for a long time, wanted to draw comics based off of songs. Mignola uses folk stories to inspire some of his Hellboy stories and I have been trying to do the same thing with music, but a lot of the music I listen to doesn't really apply to my characters. There are lines here and there but usually not a whole song. When I heard Gunning Merring Will Have His Revenge by Captain We're Sinking I thought that I finally found a full song, one that I could do with one of my characters. The original story and outline followed the song to a tee, but I didn't want to give Skoed the personality in the song, so I took out a few things and changed the ending.
Also I am trying a new sort of style. I drew this in my notebook and didn't ink so that it wouldn't look to over produced. I wanted it to feel more punk.
Tell me what you think.

New Skoed comic!

YO GABBA GABBA

Been itching to do this for awhile. I did it very simple. Probably more of these to come.
This was written by the great Bryan Young who you can follow here:
I have to say this is one of my favorite comics I have worked on, though my art is lame next to his great writing. I think I remember drawing and inking this in less then a week, plus it is the first comic where I tried drawing buildings. Fun little note: My backgrounds are done free hand, no rulers. ENJOY!
