If Superman were more like Dexter....

I drew this the other night whilst Owen was coloring. I wanted ol' Supes to look TUFF. I colored it while watching a few of the episodes of the new season of Dexter. Man, Dexter is so bad ass!

One morning Dewd and I came up with the idea to do this comic together. I got excited and drew it all and made him color it. Lindsie helped me write it and here it is.

I don't believe in Santa Clause-
his corporate image forced upon
the blinded spending masses,
to enslave the lower classes

with obligatory gifts that serve to cleanse
a year of guilt and shame.
One token gesture justifies
the apathetic, hypnotized.

Leaving them to be Kris Kringle's slaves.

The seasons obligation has not my participation.

The money hungry mating call of corporate swine.

He monitors naughty and nice-
Big brother is St. Nick!
Methodically his judgment made
documented on his list.

or his mystical facade
to teach the children wanton greed,
they're lust for gifts becomes a need.

Brainwashed by the marketing
and victims of the corporate scheme.
Material possessions becoming they're obsessions
till human life has lost it's value
and you blindly do just what they tell you
I don't believe!!!!

His tactics of intimidation repress the minds of youth
using fear for generations, His image hides the truth
He's just a puppet for the system, a glutton in a suit
with Yuletide propaganda and a bearded mask to boot!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN part 2

A few years ago Jd and I wrote this one pager and I lightly sketched out the art. The page and story was lost to the ages or no one cared. Until May of 2009, when I found this ruffly drawn page wanting to be finished. I basically just drew over my sketch and colored it, but this time it was much more fun. LINDSIE HELPED COLOR! She did awesome. When it came time to write Linds sat down with me and we wrote the story. Once again very awesome and very fun.
